YUNIGE is a Japan-based travel design company.
We are not simply a tour operator.
Our role is to deeply understand Japan’s culture, history, and spirituality — and to transform that understanding into meaningful experiences, created within the right cultural context and built on trusted relationships.
Rather than offering superficial sightseeing,
we design journeys that allow our guests to encounter the values, aesthetics, and philosophy that shape this country.
We specialize in fully customized journeys, primarily for business leaders, executives, and discerning travelers seeking something beyond the ordinary.
From iconic destinations such as Tokyo, Hakone, Kyoto, and Osaka,
to exclusive locations and experiences that are not easily accessible through standard travel arrangements, we curate journeys with depth and intention.
We are also highly experienced in designing cultural programs centered around sacred sites such as Koyasan and Ise Grand Shrine, offering carefully coordinated access rooted in cultural understanding and respect.
We provide comprehensive travel management services across Japan, including:
We ensure that even the most complex travel arrangements are handled smoothly, accurately, and discreetly.
There are many places and cultural experiences in Japan that remain little known outside the country, particularly in the English-speaking world.
We do not view Japan’s culture and history as experiences to be consumed.
We believe they should be shared in a way that allows their meaning and context to be understood.
Substance over spectacle.
Lasting understanding over momentary impression.
By valuing the relationships between culture, place, and people, we design journeys with care and integrity.
This is our approach.
Our team consists of two Japanese locals and two French residents, combining their professional expertise and varied perspectives to power YUNIGE Tours’ operations.
By combining a European perspective with an insider’s understanding of Japan, we are able to design experiences that go beyond surface-level interpretation.
We are also fully capable of providing services in French.
More importantly, we understand not only language, but also cultural expectations, communication styles, and values.
There are still many authentic Japanese experiences that remain largely unknown in Europe.
We do not simply introduce destinations.
We carefully coordinate opportunities to encounter Japan’s culture and spirituality in a respectful and meaningful way.
Through trusted local relationships, we deliver experiences that are exclusive, refined, and quietly profound.

At the age of 25, Hiroshi met a remarkable spiritual teacher who guided him onto the path of Shinto practice. Under this guidance, he began his spiritual training and later received ordination at Kinpusen-ji Temple in Yoshino, Nara, becoming a Buddhist monk as well.
Since then, he has dedicated himself to sharing the beauty and depth of Japan’s sacred culture and traditions with many people. He hopes to continue introducing the spiritual heritage of Japan to visitors from around the world, helping them discover the profound wisdom and harmony of Shinto.
